Automatically resize multiple videos to match different screen formats and detect scene changes to reframe content with accuracy.

Before you begin:

Learn about the technical specifications and explore best practices for reframing videos in bulk using the Reframe videos (beta) preset workflow.

Select Production on the Firefly homepage.

Select the Reframe Video (Beta).

Select From device to upload up to 10 videos from your local device, or use Connect to storage to directly upload from your cloud storage, such as Dropbox or AEM.  Each video you upload must be in MP4 or MOV format and must not exceed 1 GB in size.

Select the From device option to upload videos from your local device, or choose Connect to storage to upload directly from your cloud storage, such as Dropbox or AEM.
Upload videos to reframe in MP4 or MOV format, ensuring each file is no larger than 1 GB.

To set a focus for reframing, enter keywords that describe the subjects in the videos, like "coffee mug", "car", or "bird". This helps locate the subjects in the videos and reframe around them.

The videos are uploaded for reframing, and a list of keywords is included in the Focal points section.
Describe the subjects in keywords to help locate them in the videos for reframing.

You can skip this step to let Firefly automatically detect the subjects in the video for focusing.

In the Size variations section, you can choose from the available presets, which provide a wide range of ready frame size options. These presets cover different frame sizes, making it easy to resize your video for various platforms such as Reels for Instagram, Video Ads for LinkedIn, and many more.

The Presets section is expanded and there are multiple social media platforms to choose from.
Use the presets to quickly reframe videos in bulk for various platforms, including social media.

You can also select the Custom option to set your own frame size by entering the width and height values that best suit your needs.

The Size variations section includes a Custom option that lets you add a custom aspect ratio for video reframing.
If you need a custom frame size for your video outputs, create and add it in the Custom section.

After entering the width and height in pixels for the frame size, select the   icon to add it. Each custom ratio you add will appear under the Custom section, where you can easily select or remove them as needed.

As you select multiple frame sizes, the count displayed below the Continue button will indicate the total number of output videos that will be generated after processing.

For example, if you upload five videos and apply three social media presets and two custom ones, you'll generate 25 processed videos. Each of the five videos will have three versions for each selected preset and two versions with your custom preset.

Select Continue.

In the Final processing details dialog box, enter a name for the job and select Process.

You will receive an email with the link to download the processed videos. You can also use the Job log tab to view the status and download the outputs.

The Job Log is open, and the tab displays the status and allows you to download the outputs.
The job log page provides a centralized view of all processed jobs from the past 30 days.
