Adobe Connect 9.2.2 is a maintenance release and is available as a patch. It delivers fixes to a number of issues, including bugs related to security and accessibility.

Release rollout plan

Adobe Connect 9.2.2 is rolled out in the following phases:

  • On-Premise: Patch availability, in all supported locales, for customer premise deployments. Starts May 4, 2014.
  • Hosted: Updated service by Adobe. Starts May 4, 2014.
  • Managed Services: For the Adobe managed customer-specific cloud deployment of Adobe Connect the update can be scheduled based on customer requirement. Reach out to your Adobe Connect managed services representative to schedule your update.

Adobe Connect server upgrade path for on-premise deployments

The following are the prerequisites before you can upgrade to this release:

  • From Adobe Connect 8.x, upgrade to Adobe Connect 9.2 before applying this patch.
  • From Adobe Connect 9.0.x, update to Adobe Connect 9.2 before applying this patch.

For events created before Adobe Connect 9.2 release accessing the registration page may result in an error.


Incorrect user limit reached errors in certain accounts using Concurrent User license model.


On rare occasions meetings may not get started and get stuck in the connecting screen.


Newly created users having all the required permissions to create a Virtual Classroom may get a 'Not Authorized' error message when trying to create one.


Certain trainees were incorrectly allowed to exceed the maximum number of attempts setting for a training.


Incorrect completion status of some users is reported in the Curriculum report.


Certain visuals are not shown correctly for offline FLV recordings created from Windows 8 computers.


Curriculum report not returning data for large enrolments.


On Mac and Chrome browser where NPAPI-based Flash Player 12 is used, options like Accept/Deny OR Yes/No in the Flash Player settings dialog box, are not clickable.


Deleting a seminar room deletes the content associated with the seminar room like recordings even if such content has been moved to a different location in the content library.


In certain cases event registration emails are not sent.


The ICS file attached to Event invitations contains a blank line which causes an error for Mac users trying to add the event to Apple's calendar app.
