Use click-and-drag or touch gestures to navigate views when trackpad scrolling is unavailable.
Adobe Lightroom on iOS currently does not support standard two-finger trackpad scroll gestures in most views when using external devices such as Apple’s Magic Keyboard or Magic Trackpad with your iPad. As a result, scrolling may not work in the photo library, albums, or editing panels. This is a known limitation of the current trackpad implementation in Lightroom on iOS. Alternatively, you can scroll by selecting and dragging directly on the iPad screen, even when the trackpad is connected.
- Position your cursor over the area you want to scroll.
- Select and hold with one finger on the trackpad.
- Drag in the direction you want to scroll while continuing to hold.
- Release to stop scrolling.
Touch-based scrolling remains fully functional on the iPad screen regardless of connected accessories. If you frequently scroll through large photo collections, direct screen interaction may be more efficient than click-and-drag trackpad navigation.
