K-12 License Types

Adobe offers two license types for Creative Cloud: Named User licenses and Shared Device Licenses.

Named User Licenses enable the user access to all of Adobe Creative Cloud applications on campus and at home, as well as our mobile versions.

Shared Device Licenses are for use in computer labs where the license is assigned to the device.

These licenses are heavily discounted, with minimum purchase quantities varying by region. These licenses include all of the Creative Cloud applications, including Adobe Acrobat.

All K-12 Licenses are Enterprise licenses that enable Single Sign-on.

Higher Education License Types

K-12 organizations can purchase Higher Education Licenses, as these licenses have different minimum purchase levels. Higher Education Licenses are either Teams or Enterprise licenses.

Teams Licenses don't allow Single Sign On

Enterprise Licenses enable Single Sign On

Adobe Express for K-12 is Free and can be deployed via your admin console. View our Education deployment guide.
