Missing table of contents from responsive HTML5 output on iOS v10

Issue

Responsive HTML5 output generated from FrameMaker (2015 release) does not render correctly in Safari browser on iOS v10. If you open any responsive HTML5 output in Safari on iOS v10, the table of contents does not appear in the layout.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

  1. Install FrameMaker (2015 release) Update 5.

    Nota:

You can update FrameMaker by running the Adobe Update Manager from FrameMaker (Help > Update). Or, you can manually install Update 5 by downloading it from Adobe FrameMaker Support Center.

  2. Take a backup of the existing rh.min.js file. This file is available at the following location:

    <FrameMaker_install_location>\fminit\Publisher\ResponsiveHelpExt\widgets\common\scripts

  3. Download and extract the contents from the following .zip file:

    Scarica

The ZIP file contains the updated version of the rh.mini.js file.

  4. Replace the existing version of the rh.min.js file with the file that you downloaded in Step 3.

  5. Generate the Responsive HTML5 output.
