  • 100 MB of disk space for installation
  • 200 MB of free disk space after installation (for optimal performance)
  • Intel Pentium III processor 450MHz or faster is recommended
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later is recommended
  • One of the following:
    • Microsoft Windows 2000 Server with the latest service pack and

Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 5.0

      -OR-
    • Microsoft Windows 2003 Server and Microsoft Internet Information

      Server (IIS) 6.0

Note: While Adobe RoboHelp Server can run on Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Professional (with IIS installed on either system), these combinations are not as stable as operating systems designed to run a server environment such as Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or Microsoft Windows 2003 Server.

Note: All published projects are physically stored in a subdirectory of "C:\Program Files\Adobe\RoboHelp Server 7" unless a different partition/drive for RoboHelp Server is specified during installation. (Often, all published Web content is kept

on a different partition or drive than the operating system. This creates a small degree of fault tolerance and increased security for both the operating system and the Web files.)
