Add new objects with Generative fill
Select Select area > Lasso .
Draw a freehand selection with the Lasso tool.
Select the checkmark to commit the change.
Select Fill area > Generative fill. Then, enter an effective prompt in the Prompt textbox.
Select Generate .
Select More to create additional variations of the generated image.
Select the checkmark to commit the change.
Add new objects with non-generative AI tools
On the Photoshop on iPhone homescreen, select Create new and browse for a photo.
Select Select area > Tap select .
Select the Subject of the image that you’d like to edit. Then, select the checkmark to commit the changes.
Select Apply as mask from the toolbar.
Select Add image to work with any of these options for adding a new image:
- Add from Photos: Add an image from your camera roll.
- Add from Adobe Stock: Add free content from Adobe Stock.
- Take a photo: Capture a new photo.
- Add from Lightroom: Add an image from your Lightroom catalog.
- Add from Files: Add an image from your device files.
Swipe left on the thumbnail for a detailed view of the layers. Then, reorder the layer sequence in the Layers panel by selecting and dragging the layer to move it up or down in the layer stack.
Long-press and drag in the compact Layers panel to reorder the layers in the layer stack.
Within Layer properties, select Transform to further resize the image basis the requirements. Then, select the checkmark to commit the changes.
You can further refine the image using the Blend and opacity and Edit mask tools.
Add new objects with Generative fill
On the Photoshop on Android homescreen, select Create new and browse for a photo.
Select Select area > Lasso to make a freehand selection.
You can use any other selection tools available in the Select area tool group.
Select to apply the selection.
Select Fill area > Generative fill.
Enter a prompt in the prompt textbox.
Select Generate and choose the preferred generated result.
Select the checkmark to apply the change.
Add new objects with non-generative AI tools
On the Photoshop on Android homescreen, select Create new and browse for a photo.
Select Select area > Tap select .
Select the checkmark to apply the selection.
Select Apply as mask to isolate the selection from the background.
To add an object, select Add image and use these options:
- Add photos: Adds an image from your device
- Add from Adobe Stock: Add free content from Stock
- Take a photo: Captures a photo using your phone’s camera
- Add from Lightroom: Adds an image from your Lightroom catalog
- Browse: Adds an image from your device files
