Change or replace backgrounds

On the Photoshop on iPhone homescreen, select Create new    > Add from Photos.

Select Select area > Tap select   . 

Select Apply as mask   from the toolbar that opens after committing the change to isolate the selection and change the background.

Select Add image   to work with any of these options for adding a new image:

• Add from Photos: Add an image from your camera roll.
• Add from Adobe Stock: Add free content from Adobe Stock.
• Generate image: Generate a new image using text prompts.
• Take a photo: Capture a new photo.
• Add from Lightroom: Add an image from your Lightroom catalog.
• Add from Files: Add an image from your device files.

Within Layer properties, select Transform   to modify the background with your photo or Blend and opacity to adjust the opacity of the layers.

In the Layers panel, touch and hold this new layer, then drag it below the masked layer to set it as a background.

On the Photoshop on Android homescreen, select Create new   > Add photos.

Select Select area > Tap select  .

Select   to apply the selection.

Select Apply as mask   to isolate the selection from the background.

To change the background, select Add image   and use these options:

• Add photos: Adds an image from your device.
• Add from Adobe Stock: Adds free content from Stock.
• Take a photo: Captures a photo using your phone’s camera.
• Add from Lightroom: Adds an image from your Lightroom catalog.
• Browse: Adds an image from your device files.

Select Layer properties > Transform   to resize, rotate, or reposition the new image.

In the Layers panel, touch and hold this new layer, then drag it below the masked layer to set it as a background.
