Use built-in Adobe Stock panel

Learn how to discover, license, and use high-quality Adobe Stock content directly inside Adobe Premiere.

Adobe Stock panel in Premiere allows you to find, preview, and license millions of high-quality videos, images, and graphics without leaving your editing environment. This streamlines your workflow by eliminating the need to switch between applications when searching for stock content.

Select Window > Adobe Stock to open the Adobe Stock panel.

Enter keywords in the search bar at the top of the Adobe Stock panel.

To filter results, select Videos from the media type options. Use the Filters   icon to further refine your search.

Select Search to apply your filters and browse through the search results to find your desired asset.

To download a preview (watermarked) version or a licensed version, hover over the asset and select the Download   icon.

Tips:

Select the user profile icon in the Adobe Stock panel to view your current Adobe Stock subscription details. From here, you can check your remaining credits or downloads, upgrade your existing plan, or purchase a new plan.

The asset will automatically download to an Adobe Stock folder within your project. The Adobe Stock folder contains two files: the Licensed versions folder and the Preview versions folder.

Drag the downloaded asset from the Project panel to your timeline to use it in your sequence.

If needed, select the hamburger menu of the Adobe Stock panel to configure the following:

  • Open Download Location: Open the folder on your computer where downloaded Stock files are saved. It helps you quickly access your recent downloads without having to manually navigate through folders.
  • Set Download Location: Set or change the folder where your Adobe Stock downloads will be saved using the Stock & CC Libraries Downloads option under Project Settings.
  • Reload: Refresh and reload the current listings inside the panel.
  • View Licensing Terms: View the Adobe Stock license information to understand the license type and terms.
