Surface Book | Transient image distortion while zooming

While zooming in an image in Photoshop running on the Surface Book, you notice transient distortion in the form of block-like glitches. This issue is observed regardless whether the graphics processor is enabled (Preferences > Performance > Use Graphic Processor).

The distortion resolves automatically when the zooming operation is complete. Adobe is working with its partners to resolve this issue. No specific workarounds are known at this time.
