Plug-ins do not appear in Photoshop Elements

Issue: Missing plug-ins

Photoshop Elements users are unable to view or use installed, third-party plug-ins. For example, you may not be able to see or use the NIK plug-ins that you have installed.

Solution: Place installed plug-ins in the right folders

You need to place Photoshop Elements plug-ins in the correct folder to point at the correct plug-in folder location. Do the following:

1. In Photoshop Elements Editor, open the Preferences dialog (Cmd + K).
2. In the Preferences dialog, from the list of tabs, click Plug-ins.
3. Click Open Plug-ins folder in Finder. In the Finder window that is opened, paste the installed plug-ins.
4. Restart Photoshop Elements.
