Learn how to reset preferences at launch to fix performance issues in Premiere Pro.
Before you begin:
Ensure you back up your preferences before a manual reset, as custom settings like keyboard shortcuts, workspaces, and styles may be lost.
In the Reset options dialog, select the relevant options, select Continue to perform the specified actions, and resume the launch process.
Opomba:
The dialog preselects options based on the key or key combination used:
- Option or Alt: Resets app preferences
- Shift: Resets plugin loading cache
- Option or Alt + Shift: Resets app preferences and plugin loading cache
- Command or Ctrl + 3: Disables third-party video plugins
Select OK.
Opomba:
The selected options apply the next time you restart Premiere Pro.
