Enable AI features in Adobe Captivate

Set up Generative AI features in Adobe Captivate to create eLearning content faster. You'll enable tools that generate text, questions, avatars, voiceovers, and images automatically.

Generative AI tools in Captivate help you to instantly write course content and quiz questions, create professional avatars, generate multilingual voiceovers, add relevant images without searching stock libraries, and convert speech to text for improved accessibility.

Before you start
  • The Generative AI preferences appear only for Captivate 13 and above.
  • After making changes, restart Captivate for the changes to take effect.

Set your preferences

  1. Open your Adobe Captivate project. 

  2. Windows: Select Edit > Preferences. Alternatively, you can use (Ctrl + ,) to open the Preferences dialog.

    macOS: Select Adobe Captivate > Preferences in the menu bar.  You can also use the shortcut (⌘ + , ) to open Preferences.

  3. Select Generative AI in the left panel to view and select the checkboxes for features you want:

    • Generate text - Creates course content and descriptions 
    • Generate transcript - Creates transcripts from slide content 
    • Generate avatar - Creates animated presenters (also enables audio) 
    • Generate audio - Adds AI voiceovers to your content 
    • Generate image - Creates custom images for your courses

    หมายเหตุ:

    When Generate avatar is selected, Generate audio is automatically enabled because avatar narration uses AI voice generation.

  4. Select OK to save your choices.

  5. Restart Captivate for the changes to take effect.
