Add paths to a Live Paint group
Learn more about adding paths to Live Paint groups.
Adding more paths to the Live Paint group allows you to fill the new faces and stroke the created edges.
Add paths in Isolation Mode
You can also select the Isolate Selected Object in the Control panel to put the group into Isolation Mode.
Draw as many paths as required, and then press Esc or select the Exit Isolation Mode in the Control panel.
Add paths from the Object menu or the Control panel
Select a Live Paint group.
Shift-click to select the paths you want to add, and do one of the following:
- Select Object > Live Paint > Merge.
- Select Merge Live Paint in the Control panel.
Add paths with the Layers panel
Select a Live Paint group.
Select Layers from Properties panels. If you cannot find Layers in panels, select Window > Layers.
In the Layers panel, drag one or more paths into a Live Paint group.
