Issues fixed in this patch

Upgrade

  • Advanced actions are not upgraded properly:
    • Conditional actions get converted to standard actions in upgraded project.
    • Operands in advanced actions appear blank in upgraded project.
  • Autoshape buttons fill and stroke are not retained during upgrade.

Note:

General

  • Unable to insert multiple custom image buttons.
  • Web objects do not maintain Z-order and are always on top in HTML5.
  • Tab Order dialog box throws Error #2046 on Mac OS X 10.10.5.
  • Round-tripping with the latest Creative Cloud applications are broken with the November 2015 release of Creative Cloud.
  • When effects have a duration less than their default duration, the last few frames of the effect do not play.
  • The HTML5 Tracker reports effects are not supported in HTML5 even if they are supported.
  • Distortion issues (objects with in-built states appearing to jump) that occur when responsive projects containing objects with in-built states are opened.
  • If your Windows user name has spaces, HTML 5 previews do not work. In addition, some other issues such as LMS preview not working, or SVGs not showing up can occur.
Note: These issues can also occur if your Windows temp folder has spaces in it.
For more information on this issue, see HTML5 Preview does not launch when Windows user name has spaces.

SVG

  • Colors on SVG images get interchanged if they have the same style and are present on the same slide.
  • Additional PNGs of SVGs are published in the Captivate output causing increase in file size.
  • Groups of SVGs when resized get cut in SWF output.

Runtime

  • When publishing to MP4, background audio volume on the second slide with audio does not get lowered when you adjust the slide background audio.
  • Background audio stutters when a project is published to MP4.
  • Publish to Adobe Connect fails if your project contains knowledge check slides, but no other type of quiz slide.
  • Additional objects added as part of text entry box feedback captions do not appear in runtime.
  • State changes or additional objects added as part of states do not appear in runtime if Fade-In transition is applied.
  • If more than 45 random question slides are inserted in a project, the results slide does not appear in runtime.

Learning interactions

  • Millionaire: The answers specified in the Millionaire widget get reset every time you edit this interaction.
  • Accordion: Clicking on the tabs in the Accordion widget inserts “ …”  for each click.
  • Scrolling text: Text within this widget is not updated dynamically during runtime if the interaction variable is updated (for example, using a text entry box).
If the text entry box and interaction are on the same slide, the text gets updated. However, if the interaction is on a different slide, the interaction variable gets reset on entry of that slide and values from the text entry box are not retained.
  • Dropdown: Comparison of a dropdown variable does not work in HTML5 runtime
  • YouTube: The YouTube widget is not visible in SWF on Firefox version 44 and later.
