Adobe Creative Suite 3 and CS3 point products include an uninstaller on Windows and Mac OS. If you want to remove the suite or an individual product, use the uninstaller. Don't manually delete application folders by dragging them to the Recycle Bin (Windows) or Trash (Mac OS). Manually deleting folders before using the uninstaller can cause problems if you try to reinstall the Adobe Creative Suite 3 or CS3 point products.
The uninstaller removes everything installed by Adobe Creative Suite 3.
Important: When you run the uninstaller, you are asked if you want to deactivate your software. If you plan to reinstall the Adobe Creative Suite 3 on the same machine, then consider keeping your activation. For information see Activation, deactivation | Adobe products.

If you manually removed a CS3 edition or application by deleting their folders and you can't reinstall the applications, run the Adobe CS5 Cleaner Tool. The CS5 Cleaner Tool works with CS3, CS4, and CS5 products. See Resolve installation problems with CS5 Cleaner Tool | CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 for instructions on downloading and using the tool.
