Learn how to use Firefly's Prompt to edit feature and edit images using text prompts.

Firefly now allows you to edit your images with simple prompts. With the Prompt to edit feature, you can take advantage of the powerful Gemini 2.5 (Nano Banana) image model and edit images as per your unique requirements.

This capability is available only for Firefly on iPhone.

Launch the Firefly mobile app.

On the homescreen, select Try Gemini 2.5 (Nano Banana).

When the Prompt to edit screen opens, select Upload and upload an image from your device.

Näpunäide:

If you wish to edit one of your older generations, go to Your stuff and open the image you want to edit. Select Modify and then select Prompt to edit.

In the prompt dialog box, enter a prompt describing how you want to alter the image.

Prompt to edit screen in Firefly displays the Upload button along with the prompt dialog box. — Upload your image and add a prompt to enable the Generate button.

Tap the Model dropdown menu to select from the available Adobe and partner models:

Firefly Image 5 (preview)
Flux Kontext Max
Flux Kontext Pro
Gemini 2.5 (Nano Banana)
GPT Image

Tap the add icon if you wish to add more images to edit similarly.

Select Generate .
