Generate videos Luma Ray3 and Ray3 HDR
Learn how to use Luma Ray3 and Ray3 HDR when generating videos using the Text to video or Image to video features.
When generating videos using the Text to video and Image to video features, choose Luma Ray as the partner models.
Luma Ray3 HDR is only supported in the Android app at this time.
In the Generate video screen, enter a text prompt for the video you want to generate.
To set an image as the starting point of your video, upload it as the first frame in the Frame section. To end your video with a specific image, upload it as the end frame.
Tap General and then Partner models to view the list of partner models. Select Ray3 or Ray3 HDR.
Tap the Generate icon to generate the video.
On the homescreen, tap Text to image or Image to video.
In the Generate video screen, enter a text prompt for the video you want to generate.
If you're using Image to video, start by uploading an image and then enter a text prompt for the video you want to generate. The uploaded image will serve as the starting point and guide for the video.
Tap the Model dropdown, select Partner models to view the list, and then select Ray3.
Tap the close icon to confirm your selection.
Tap the Resolution option to select from the following available options:
- 360p
- 540p
- 720p
- 1080p
- 4K
Tap Aspect ratio to select the desired frame size for the generated video from the following options:
- Landscape (21:9)
- Landscape (16:9)
- Landscape (4:3)
- Square (1:1)
- Portrait (3:4)
- Portrait (9:16)
- Portrait (9:21)
Tap the Generate icon to generate the video.
