Remove objects
Learn how to use Firefly on mobile to remove unnecessary elements of your image without altering the original.
Learn how to use Firefly on mobile to remove unnecessary elements of your image without altering the original.
Select Generative fill.
Upload an image or select an image from the gallery.
Tap Remove and brush over the area or object you want to remove.
If you want to replace the background, tap the Background option and use the text prompt to generate a new one.
Tap Remove.
Choose an image from the generated results or tap More to create new variations.
Tap Keep to continue with the selected image, or tap Cancel to discard the variations.
Tap Export icon to download the image or open it in Adobe Express for further editing.
Open Firefly on mobile.
On the homepage, go to Generative remove and select an image from your local device.
If you wish to edit an image from your generation history, go to Your stuff, select an image you want to edit, select Modify, and then select Generative remove.
Tap the Brush tool and brush over the object or area you'd like to remove.
Once done, select the check icon to confirm your selection, or the reset icon to use the Brush tool again.
Select Remove.
Select the Save icon to save the selected image to your device.
To continue editing the image, select Adjust settings or Modify. Select Open In to open the image with Adobe Express, Photoshop, or Premiere.
