Generate images using Gemini (Nano Banana)
Learn how to generate images using Gemini (Nano Banana) in Adobe Firefly.
Use Gemini models like Gemini 3 (Nano Banana Pro) and Gemini 3.1 (Nano Banana 2) to create images from simple text prompts. These models can help generate visually rich outputs from descriptive prompts, directly on your mobile device.
In the Prompt field, enter a text description of the image you want to generate.
Select Model in the options bar, and then select Gemini 3.1 (Nano Banana 2) or Gemini 3 (Nano Banana Pro) from the Partner models tab.
Select Aspect ratio in the options bar, and then select the required width-to-height ratio.
Select Resolution in the options bar, and then select the required resolution.
To use an image as a reference for a more refined output, select Image in the options bar and then upload it.
Select Generate in the Prompt field to generate the image.
On the homescreen, tap Text to image.
In the prompt field, enter a text description of the image you want to generate.
Select the Model dropdown menu and then select Partner models to get a list of available models to choose from.
Select Gemini 2.5 (Nano Banana) and then select the close icon to confirm the selection.
For Gemini 2.5 (Nano Banana), the default Aspect ratio is set to Square (1:1).
Tap the Generate icon to generate the image.
