AI Assistant features and capabilities
AI Assistant simplifies image editing with quick edits and custom prompts.
- AI Edit: Quick, one-click transformations for your images, such as:
- Remove distractions from my image
- Make my image look like a product shot
- Turn my image into a professional headshot
- Add a gradient background to my image
- Prompt bar: Enter a custom prompt to describe exactly how you want to edit your image. Suggested edits shown above the prompt bar can also be customized before applying. Try sample prompts to edit the images in your design. For example:
- Replace background with a gradient
- Transform this photo into a high-quality AI caricature
Access AI Assistant in Adobe Express Photos
From the Home screen:
Access AI Edit directly from the Home screen to quickly enhance your images. Select the cards to apply the transformation.
From the Edit screen:
Open an image and select Edit to open the editor. The Effects panel opens automatically, where you can access AI edits, the prompt bar, and suggested edits.
From the View screen:
Open an image from your device to open the editor. Select Edit or use the prompt bar to refine your image.
Content guidelines
AI Assistant includes built-in safeguards to support responsible use. Some prompts may not be processed if they don't meet Adobe guidelines. If this occurs, you may see a message such as: We can't proceed with this design or command as it violates our user guidelines.
Content Credentials
Adobe may attach or publish Content Credentials for content created with generative AI features to let people know it was generated with AI. Learn more about Content Credentials.
Generative credits
We reserve the right to introduce generative credit consumption for generative AI features in Acrobat in the future and may update usage limits at any time, including the ability to limit, throttle, or suspend usage that exceeds our limits.
