Remove background from images

Learn how to remove the background from an image using the Adobe Express Photos app on Windows.

On Adobe Express Photos Home, select Remove background.  

Browse and upload an image from your device.  

Select Remove background.

Image editor with the Remove Background option in the Backgrounds section highlighted in the left Effects panel.
Use the Remove Background tool to instantly delete the background from your image, leaving only the main subject.

Select Save to apply changes to the original image.   

To download a copy, select Save > Save as, and then select a location on your device.
