Manage starred file location

Learn how to set starred file locations in Acrobat on mobile.

Star files to quickly access them later. When you star a file, Acrobat marks it as a favorite and shows a star icon next to its name in the selected location. For cloud storage files, the star appears only in the cloud file list. The star does not appear on local copies of those files.

Open Acrobat mobile

Go to Acrobat on Android and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.

Select Preferences.

Select the option under Starred file location.

Select one of the following options:

Adobe cloud storage: Sync starred files to the cloud.
This device only: Store files locally without syncing.
Ask every time: Choose a location each time you star a file.

Select OK to save your selection.
