Issue
When a signer opens a document to sign in Safari browser on an iOS device, it gives the following error:
Cookie functionality is disabled on your browser.
Environment
Adobe Sign Web UI (Safari browser).
Cause
- Cookies are disabled.
- "Prevent Cross Site Tracking" is toggled ON. (for iOS version 11 and above).
Resolution
Do the following steps in your iOS device:
-
-
Navigate to Settings > Safari, and then deselect Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
Once these options are deselected, the error disappears and the signer is able to sign the document without any trouble.
Additional information
- It is because as per the system requirements of Adobe Sign, you have to enable cookie functionality. For more information on system requirements, see https://helpx.adobe.com/in/sign/system-requirements.html.
- "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" option gets automatically selected for iOS version 11 and above so as a signer you have to disable it manually.
