Power Automate embedded integration retirement in 2027

Last updated on Sep 22, 2026

Learn what changes when the embedded Microsoft Power Automate experience is retired from Adobe Acrobat Sign in January 2027 and how to access existing workflows afterward.

What is Microsoft Power Automate embedded within Acrobat Sign?

Adobe Acrobat Sign includes a built-in integration with Microsoft Power Automate, accessible directly within the Acrobat Sign web interface. The integration enables users to create, manage, and execute automated workflows that connect Acrobat Sign agreement events to supported Power Automate applications and services.

Flows can be created from scratch or from pre-built templates and can be shared, edited, disabled, or imported from external Power Automate environments. The integration is included with the Acrobat Sign commercial enterprise license with a limited-use entitlement for the Power Automate service.

For more information, see Overview and entitlements included with the Microsoft Power Automate integration.

What’s changing in 2027?

In January 2027, the embedded Power Automate experience within Acrobat Sign is being discontinued. Acrobat Sign will remove this feature from the Acrobat Sign web application.

For the majority of customers, Power Automate workflows created through the embedded Power Automate experience within Acrobat Sign will continue to function without interruption and will remain accessible through the Microsoft Power Automate interface. See below for more information.

What is the timeline for discontinuing this capability?

  • Phase 1 — September 2026 (Acrobat Sign 17.2 release): The embedded Power Automate experience will continue to appear within the Acrobat Sign web application and remain functional, as well as through the Microsoft Power Automate interface. New workflows can be created, and existing workflows can be modified within Acrobat Sign.
  • Phase 2 — January 2027 (Acrobat Sign 18.0 release): The embedded Power Automate experience will no longer appear within the Acrobat Sign web application. Workflows must then be accessed and managed through the Microsoft Power Automate interface.

How does this impact me?

For most customers, although the embedded Power Automate experience will no longer appear within Acrobat Sign, Power Automate workflows will continue to function without interruption and will remain accessible through the Microsoft Power Automate interface.

How do I access Power Automate workflows from the Microsoft Power Automate interface?

View Power Automate cloud flows

Go to Power Automate. Ensure that you are working within your default environment.

From the left navigation panel, select My flows. You will see your available Cloud flows.

  • Power Automate workflows created through Acrobat Sign’s embedded experience are always created in the user’s default environment and the Default Solution.
  • For more information, refer to the Microsoft documentation: Find a solution-aware cloud flow.

Will I need an additional Power Automate license?

For a small percentage of customers, you will need to associate your Power Automate workflows with a paid Power Automate Premium license. This will be required if either:

  1. Your Power Automate workflows use a Power Automate Premium connector.
  2. Your Power Automate workflows have more than 6,000 actions per day.

Contact Microsoft for further information about a Power Automate Premium license.

How can I get additional support?
