Learn how to create and customize an event landing page in Adobe Connect to promote your event and drive registrations.
Creating an effective landing page is essential for promoting your Adobe Connect event and increasing registrations. A landing page serves as the main entry point for participants to find detailed information about the event, including the description, date and time, speaker details, and registration options. A well-structured landing page enhances user engagement and provides a seamless entry point to your Adobe Connect event.
Adobe Connect allows you to create and customize landing pages using templates and AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) components. Once you create an event, you can:
- Select a pre-configured event landing page template.
- Edit the template using visual tools in AEM to modify event banners, speaker sections, footers, and more.
- Add reusable AEM components such as charts, columns, images, and social plugins.
- Preview the final layout to ensure the landing page reflects your event branding and layout preferences.
The following topics are covered in this article:
Prerequisites
Before you begin creating or customizing a landing page, ensure that the following conditions are met:
- You have the necessary permissions to create and manage events in Adobe Connect.
- Your event content (e.g., meeting, course) already exists in the appropriate Adobe Connect content library.
Start an event landing page template
Before customizing your landing page, you must select a template for your Adobe Connect event. Templates provide a pre-designed structure that includes sections like the event title, date and time, registration options, and speaker information.
Adobe Connect offers a variety of event templates that suit different use cases and branding styles. Choosing the right template ensures a consistent layout and saves time during customization.
Perform the following steps to start an event landing page template:
-
Log in to Adobe Connect Central home.
-
Select the Events tab.
-
Select New Event to start the event creation wizard.
-
Select a pre-configured template from the Event Template dropdown. An event landing page is the main access point for participants seeking information about a specific event. It includes essential details such as the event description, date, time, and registration options. Users can preview the event landing page along with related pages, such as registration and speaker information, directly within Adobe Connect Central.
-
Browse through the available templates and choose one that best fits your event's style and purpose.
The template editing mode launches in a new browser. You can design visually appealing and informative event landing pages using AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) components.

After the template editor opens, start customizing your event landing page with key details. Use the editable components to update the layout, text, and visuals. This lets you align the page with your event’s branding and clearly communicate important information to your audience.

Set the following size-related image properties:
- Size: A dropdown to choose how resizing should be handled. The option Maintain aspect ratio (default) ensures the image keeps its proportions as you resize. The other options allow you to set the dimensions of the image:
- Use predefined size: Automatically applies a size based on system or template-defined dimensions. This option is useful when maintaining consistency across similar components (for example, speaker images or banners).
- Use original size: Displays the image/component at its actual size (in pixels) as uploaded. No resizing is applied. Best used when the source file is already optimized for display.
- Set custom size: Gives full control over width and height. You can manually enter values in the Enter custom size fields. Aspect ratio is not maintained unless you calculate it manually.
- Dimension: Determines which dimension to modify when resizing.
- Width or Height: Resize based on width (height adjusts automatically if aspect ratio is maintained).
- Value in px: Specifies the new dimension (based on selected Dimension) in pixels. For example, 740 px width with aspect ratio maintained will auto-adjust the height.
- Enter custom size: Allows manual entry of width and height.
