The Event Catalog in Adobe Connect serves as a centralized, publicly accessible directory that showcases your upcoming events. It enables both internal and external participants to explore, browse, and register for events, providing a streamlined, organized experience.
This catalog helps you:
- Present multiple events in a structured and visually appealing format.
- Reach a broader audience beyond your organization.
- Simplify the event registration and approval process through automation.
Whether you're running webinars, training sessions, or public events, the Event Catalog is an essential tool for promoting and managing them effectively on your Adobe Connect platform.
When to use the Event Catalog
Use the Event Catalog to organize and present multiple events in a single, branded location. The catalog is helpful when you want to improve event visibility, streamline registrations, and reach external participants efficiently. Consider using the Event Catalog when:
- You have multiple concurrent or recurring events and need a unified location for visibility and access.
- You're aiming to attract external participants and want to present a branded, professional experience.
- You require a centralized registration process to handle approvals, track attendees, and reduce manual work.

Prerequisites
To ensure your event appears in the Event Catalog, make sure the Visibility checkbox is selected when creating the event. View Create an event for more information.
Follow these steps to set up and configure your Event Catalog in Adobe Connect:

Select Events tab in Adobe Connect Central.

Select Event Catalog.

Do one of the following:
- Select View to view the Event Catalog.
- Click Edit to edit the Event Catalog.

Select Event Administration on the Events page.

Select Event Tags. All event tags are displayed.
You can add a tag to the list. You can also delete an existing tag from the list or modify the tag.

Select Edit in the Event Catalog.

Start editing the template in the AEM design view.

Select the Event Carousel.

Select the Configure icon.

Change the carousel transition times, like Speed and Transition. The time is in milliseconds.
- The Play Speed is the time until the next slide is shown.
- The Transition Time is the transition duration between two slides.

Change the text style of the event, like font color, size, family, or weight. The options you choose reflect on the carousel.

Select the catalog.

Select the Configure icon. Change the name of the default event catalog and change its text styles.

Select the Event List component.

Select the Configure icon. You can customize the following:
- Display Configuration:
- Page Size: Select how many event cards appear per page.
- Display Future Events: This sets how far ahead (in days) the system will display upcoming events.
- Tag Panel Position: The option Responsive keeps the tags visible and usable across all screen sizes.
- Tags Panel Title: Displays the current name of the Tags panel. Rename it to something more suitable, if required.
- Show All Tags: When selected, it displays every tag associated with your events.
