Can’t install plugins in Adobe XD

Learn how to resolve installation errors while installing plugins in Adobe XD.

Tip

Adobe XD plugins can only be installed through the Stock & Marketplace tab in the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Adobe XD app isn’t updated

If your Adobe XD app isn't up to date, you may encounter an error when installing a plugin. To update Adobe XD, follow these steps:

Open the Creative Cloud desktop app, in the right panel, select Updates.

In the Updates window, find Adobe XD, and select Update.

Go to the Stock & Marketplace tab and install the plugin again.

Creative Cloud desktop app version isn’t updated

If the issue continues after updating Adobe XD, you might have an outdated version of the Creative Cloud desktop app. To resolve this, download and install the latest version of the Creative Cloud desktop app.
