Access AI-powered features from a dedicated workspace, making it easier to discover and use AI tools in one place. Type a description to create anything from a basic background to a detailed image.
Open AI workspace:
Select AI from the mode selector.
Do one of the following:
- Select Open, select the image you want to edit, and then select Open.
- Select the Open drop-down menu to open a recently used file or access additional file options.
- Choose File > Open, select the image you want to edit, and then select Open.

Expand your photos beyond their original boundaries with generative AI. Extend the background while creating content that blends naturally with your existing image.
To use this feature, follow the given steps:
Open an image in Photoshop Elements.
Open the AI workspace.
Drag the crop handles outward to expand the canvas and create the area you want to fill.
In the Prompt textbox, enter a description of the content you want to generate.
Click on Generate.

Enhance the resolution of your photos with generative AI while preserving details and enhancing overall image quality.
You can access the feature from Quick Actions or the Edit menu:
Open an image in Photoshop Elements.
Do one of the following:
- Open the AI workspace and select Generative Upscale.
- Select Quick Actions > AI Edits > Generative Upscale.
- Select Edit > Generative Upscale.
Select an AI model.
Choose an upscale factor.
Click Upscale and wait for the process to complete.

To use this feature, follow the given steps:
Open an image in the Advanced workspace.
Select Filter > Creative Filters or Select Creative Filters from the Action Bar.
Select one of the available creative filters.
Select one of the available presets.
Changes are reflected on the image in real time. Adjust the available controls to customize the selected preset.

Contextual Task Bar improvements
Customise the Contextual Task Bar experience with new options to show or hide Contextual Task Bars. You can also select Hide Contextual Task Bar from the three-dot menu on each available Contextual Task Bars.

Generative Layer improvements
Get more clarity and control when working with generative content. Contextual tooltips are now available while GenAI outputs are being generated, and you can delete unwanted GenAI variations from your generations.

Partner Models
Choose from newly added partner AI models for more flexibility with Generative AI features. Photoshop Elements now offers additional AI models, alongside Adobe Firefly, giving you more options to create and experiment with generative features.

Adobe Camera Raw Update.
Adobe Camera Raw lets you import and enhance raw images and has been an essential tool for photographers ever since it was first intergrated with Photoshop Elements in 2004.
