Learn how to rotate live shapes in Illustrator.
Move the cursor toward an anchor point until you see the rotate icon, then drag to rotate.
Select View > Show Bounding Box if the Bounding box is not visible.

To view the on-screen control widgets of the live shape, enable Show Shape Widgets in the Control panel.
You can use the Transform panel to rotate live shapes precisely. Double-click any corner widget of the live shape to open the panel and specify the rotation angle in the Rotate field.
