Select the Rectangle tool and hold it to draw more live shapes using the Rounded Rectangle , Ellipse , Polygon , Shaper ,or, Star tool.

Learn how to rotate live shapes in Illustrator.
Move the cursor toward an anchor point until you see the rotate icon, then drag to rotate.
Select View > Show Bounding Box if the Bounding box is not visible.

To view the on-screen control widgets of the live shape, enable Show Shape Widgets in the Control panel.
You can use the Transform panel to rotate live shapes precisely. Double-click any corner widget of the live shape to open the panel and specify the rotation angle in the Rotate field.
