Learn how to easily switch between the active document in the workspace and the homescreen.
Switch to the homescreen
Select Home in the upper-left corner of the Illustrator window to switch from the active document to the homescreen.
Switch back to the active document
Select the back arrow next to the Illustrator icon on the homescreen to switch back to the active document.
