Add shapes, lines, and freeform drawings

Learn how to add visual elements in PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat to highlight important information.
Select any of the following tools as desired:
- To create simple shapes, select the Line, Arrow, Rectangle, or Circle tool.
- To create closed shapes with multiple segments, select the Cloud or Polygon tool.
- To create open shapes with multiple segments, select the Connected lines tool.
- To create a free-form drawing, select the Draw tool.
- To remove drawing markups, select Erase a drawing.
To edit or resize the markup, select it and drag one of the corner handles to make the adjustments.
To add a note to the markup, select the markup, and then select Add a comment from the Quick action toolbar.
To delete a drawing markup, select it and press Delete.
