Import multiple photos from the Lightroom library
Learn how to select and add multiple photos at once to the Lightroom library.
Use batch import to import multiple photos from your device into Adobe Lightroom in a single operation. This workflow applies when you’re viewing your Lightroom cloud library and want to add selected photos from your device’s local photo library for editing and organization.
To automatically import all new photos, view the Auto Add from Device Photos settings.
From the pop-up menu, select Add photos.
Select a source you want to import from, such as Device Photos, Files, or Connected camera/card.
Select More to narrow your selection by file type or adjust the thumbnail size for easier browsing.
Select the photos you want to import by tapping each thumbnail.
Select Add to import the selected photos to your Lightroom library.
If the import button doesn’t appear, try accessing the import function from a specific album or create a new album first.
Use batch import to import multiple photos from your device into Adobe Lightroom in a single operation. This workflow applies when you’re viewing your Lightroom cloud library and want to add selected photos from your device’s local photo library or Google Drive for editing and organization.
To automatically import all new photos, view the Enable Auto Add settings in your app Preferences.
Select the Lightroom tab, and then select Options .
From the pop-up menu, select Add photos .
To import photos, do one of the following:
- Select Gallery, select the photos by tapping each thumbnail, and then select Add.
- Select Files, select the photos by tapping each thumbnail, and then select Select.
You can also import photos in the Detail view by selecting the Gallery icon, or capture and import a new photo by selecting the Camera icon.
