Create versions of your photo edits

Select a photo to open it in Detail view and apply your desired edits.

Apply your desired edits, and then select Versions .

In the Versions panel, select Named > Create version.

In the Create Version dialog box, enter a descriptive name for the version, and then select Create.

Open a previously edited photo in Detail view.

Select the Versions   icon, and then select Versions from the drop-down list.

In the Versions panel, select either of the following tabs:

• Auto: Select this option to use the automatically saved versions from each editing session.
• Named: Select this option to use the manually saved versions of your edits.

Select the More , and then select Rename to update the version name or Delete to remove it permanently.

Open a photo in Detail view and apply your desired edits.

Select the Versions icon, and then select Versions from the drop-down menu.

In the Versions panel, select Named > Create Version.

In the Create Version dialog box, enter a descriptive name for the version, and then select Create.

Open a previously edited photo in Detail view.

Select the Versions   icon, and then select Versions from the drop-down list.

In the Versions panel, select either of the following tabs:

• Auto: Select this option to use the automatically saved versions from each editing session.
• Named: Select this option to use the manually saved versions of your edits.

Scroll through the filmstrip, select one of the saved edits, and do the following:

• Apply: To use the version as your current edit phase, select Apply.
• Rename Version: To rename a previously saved version, select Options on the image, and then select Rename Version in the Named tab or Save as Named Version in the Auto tab.
• Delete Version: To delete a previously saved version, select Delete Version in the Named tab or Delete in the Auto tab.
• Delete all: To delete all previously saved edits, in the filmstrip, select Options in the filmstrip, and then select All Named Versions or All Autosaves.

You can’t delete or rename the Original file version.
