Find all available settings and preferences in Lightroom on mobile with descriptions of each option.

Use this reference when configuring Adobe Lightroom on mobile to match your workflow preferences, manage storage, or troubleshoot behavior.

To access app settings, select Lightroom , and then select the options from the menu.

Setting	Description
About Lightroom	Select to view the names of all the people who made Adobe Lightroom on mobile.
What's New	Displays a chronological list of fixes and improvements made in Lightroom on mobile.
Premium features	Display the premium features you get when upgrading to a paid subscription.
Early Access	View and enable experimental and soft-launched features listed here, and provide feedback to Adobe.
Cloud Storage & Sync	Cloud Storage: Displays the number of photos backed up in the cloud and the available cloud storage. Use Cellular for sync: Turn off to sync only over WiFi, or turn on to allow syncing using your cellular data. Download only reduced-resolution files: Use for sharing and mobile work. Smaller file size enables faster loading, editing, and sharing. Download original files when using AI tools: Use for high-quality output, such as printing or desktop work. A larger file size may slow loading and editing. Prevent From Sleep: Switch on to prevent your device from sleeping while connected to power.
Local Storage	Local Storage: Displays the information about how much storage Lightroom occupies. Manage Storage: Set the cache size limit to control disk usage; increase it for faster local access and editing, or decrease it to save space and download content when needed. Clear Cache: Tap to clear previews and temporary files from your mobile device. No photos or edits are deleted.
Import	Auto Add from Device Photos: Switch on the toggle button to allow the automatic import of any new photo, screenshot, or video from your Device's library. Add the Copyright: Switch to add your copyright metadata to images during import. HDR Edit Setting: Switch on the HDR edit mode for new photos to enable editing in HDR by default. Raw Default Settings: Select from Adobe default, Camera settings, and Preset as RAW default.
Content Credentials	Secure ownership of your content by adding a digital signature to protect data when exporting or sharing files.
People View	Switch on the toggle button to enable Lightroom to analyze and group similar faces in the People folder.
Input	Gesture & Shortcuts: View the gestures in Lightroom on mobile (iOS). Show Touches: Switch on to display a red dot where your finger/stylus touches the screen. Left Handed Editing (iPad-only): Switch on to display the Edit controls and panels.
Help & Support	Check out FAQs: View answers to frequently asked questions in the web browser. Access our support forum: Select the option in the web browser. Get support: Select to open the Adobe Customer Support page in the web browser. Request a feature: Select to access the Lightroom mobile forum to request a new feature. Reset help overlays: Select to restore the gesture tips and help overlays that appear after you install Lightroom on mobile.

Account	Displays your Adobe account details and account-related settings.
Premium Features	Shows features available with a paid subscription.
Early access	Provides access to experimental and upcoming Lightroom on mobile features.
Preferences	Allows you to customize the Lightroom on mobile settings. Enable Auto Add: Automatically imports new photos from your device into Lightroom. People View: Organizes photos by detecting people for easier browsing and searching. Photo Import Options: Configures import settings, including RAW DEFAULT SETTINGS, HDR EDIT SETTINGS, and METADATA preferences. Content Credentials: Manages Content Credentials settings and information included with exported files. Send Usage Info: Shares app usage and diagnostic data with Adobe to help improve Lightroom. Use Cellular Data: Allows Lightroom to use mobile data for syncing and other app activities. IMAGE QUALITY: Controls download preferences, including downloading reduced-resolution files only or downloading originals when using AI tools.

Access our Support Forum: Opens the Adobe community forum for discussions and support. Contact Adobe Support: Provides options to contact Adobe customer support. Request a Feature: Lets you submit feature requests and product suggestions.
