Migration of the Adobe Acrobat Sign account management & billing to the Adobe Value Incentive Plan (VIP)

Overview

Account management & billing in Adobe Value Incentive Plan (VIP)

After migration, your Adobe Acrobat Sign account management and billing will become part of the Adobe Value Incentive Plan (VIP) in accordance with the terms of your agreement with Adobe. 
 
What is VIP? 
The Adobe Value Incentive Plan (VIP) is a subscription licensing program with simple and secure management capabilities, flexible terms that give you lots of choices, and discount levels that increase as you make additional purchases.

What is VIP Membership ID? 
As part of your migration to the Value Incentive Plan (VIP), you will be issued a VIP ID. The VIP ID is a unique identifying number that designates your organization as a member of the VIP program.

All communications and account management actions going forward will reference this number.

Manage billing and payments

Payment and Invoices are managed through the Adobe Customer Information Site (ACIS). You can update your billing information, attach credit cards, or review and download invoices from this site. 

Ensuring your account information is up to date will enable you to continue using Acrobat Sign without interruption.

Note

The billing/ACIS system only supports Firefox and Chrome browsers at this time.

How to log in to the ACIS site

Click on the link in the email sent by Adobe (Subject: Please provide your payment information)

  • Note the address that the email was delivered to is the address Adobe is expecting to authenticate for this process

Enter the email address listed on the email you received

  • Click Continue
Caution

When attempting to log in to ACIS, make sure you are authenticating to Adobe using the same address that this email was sent to.

Enter your Adobe ID password

  • Click Continue
Authenticate

This error indicates that the email provided does not match an existing user, so a new account must be created

  • Click the Create a new account link
    • Fill in your name
    • Provide a password
    • Select the country/region that is appropriate 
    • Click Create Account

This error indicates that a user is found, but the password does not match.

  • Click the eye icon to reveal your password and verify that you entered it correctly
  • If you believe you are entering the password correctly, the best option is to reset the password by clicking the Reset your password link and following the on-screen instructions

If you do not have access to ACIS or you receive a You are not an authorized user error message, please contact ACIS@adobe.com and provide:

  • Account number or VIP ID number (See your email with the subject line: Please provide your payment information)
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
    • This must be an individual user's corporate email address. Adobe’s IT Security protocols prohibit email aliases, email distributions list, and personal emails

Once authenticated, the Adobe Customer Information Site (ACIS) opens to the Home tab:

ACIS - Home

The Home tab contains the high-level information about the current payers and balance:

  • Payers - The list of account numbers assigned to your email id
  • Outstanding Balance - The current balance for all services provided by Adobe on this Payer account
  • Bill-tos - The list of users that will be notified for billing related events
  • Adobe Contact Information - The credit analyst assigned to the account


Common activities in the ACIS:

Log in to ACIS site and click on Account tab

  • Add or update credit card information in Credit Cards section
    • Once updated your credit card will be saved to your account for recurring billings.

 

This tab contains basic billing information for your account:

  • Billing Address - The identified address for billing the account
  • Credit Card / Recurring Billing - Credit card on the account for recurring billings
  • VIP Memberships - Your VIP membership name and number

If you have any difficulty accessing ACIS or adding your credit card, contact acis@adobe.com.

If you have any questions regarding your billing, contact your sales agent. 

  • Remittance information to pay by ACH, check or wire is noted on the invoice and can also be found on the Documents tab of ACIS.
  • To pay by Credit Card go to the Invoice & Payments tab of ACIS and click Pay Now.
    • If your email address is the primary bill to contact for the invoice and you have already created an Adobe ID, access ACIS Log in Here with your Adobe ID password.
    • If your email address is the primary bill to contact for the invoice, but you have not yet created an Adobe ID, access ACIS Log in Here and create your Adobe ID and password.
    • If your email address is not the primary bill to contact for the invoice, or you are having trouble logging into ACIS, please contact acis@adobe.com and provide:
      • Account or VIP ID number
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Email Address*

Log in to ACIS site and click on Invoices & Payments tab

  • Invoices and payments are posted to a searchable table that can be filtered using the fields at the top of the page
  • Column headers in the table can be clicked to sort the table based on values in that column
  • To print an invoice click the “PDF icon”. The invoice will be displayed and you can download or print the invoice

Log in to ACIS site and click on Users tab

  • You can provide additional users access to your ACIS account to obtain invoice copies, make payments, or delete their access

Log in to ACIS site and click on Documents tab

  • You can find reference documentation for billing-related activities in this tab (e.g. remittance instructions).

ACIS - Documents

Log into ACIS site and click on the My Profile tab.

You can change your password, edit your profile and maintain your credit cards for recurring billings and purchase order (net term) based invoices.

Manage your taxes

After your Acrobat Sign account is migrated to the Value Incentive Plan (VIP), you will begin to see taxes on your invoices in accordance with the terms of your agreement with Adobe.

If your organization is exempt from tax, please send an email to adtax@adobe.com with below information:

  • Tax information for your region:
    • For customers in the United States and Canada, attach your exemption certificate
    • For customers in Europe, provide your VAT ID
    • For customers in Asia and Australia, provide your ABN, TIN, BRN, PAN, or GST number
  • Organization Name
  • Organization Address (Including City, Region, Country, Postal Code)
  • VIP Membership Number

Adding licenses

  • Orders may be placed by VIP Members at any time throughout the VIP subscription term
  • Members may contact their Account Manager, or an administrator may indicate their intent to purchase by adding licenses in the Admin Console and then submitting an order to their Account Manager
  • Available Acrobat Sign products include seats, transactions, phone authentications, and knowledge-based authentications
