Select the Smooth tool.
Drag along the path segment until it’s as smooth as you need.
Create smooth anchor points
Select the Anchor Point tool.
Press Option (macOS) or Alt (Windows), then drag a handle to link it with the opposite one and create a smooth anchor point.
Adjust path smoothness
Double-click the Smooth tool.
In the Smooth Tool Options dialog box, do any of the following:
- Drag the slider toward Accurate to closely follow your cursor movements and preserve the path’s complexity.
- Drag the slider toward Smooth to reduce the number of anchor points and simplify the path.
Select OK.
