Cut paths

Learn how to divide a path at any anchor point or along any segment into separate parts using the Scissors tool or the Control panel.
Select the Scissors tool, and then select the path segment or anchor point to cut it.
Бележка:
The new paths will inherit the original path’s settings, such as stroke weight and fill color, but stroke alignment resets to center.
To cut a path at selected anchor points:
- Select Window > Control to open the Control bar.
- Select the anchor point using the Direct Selection tool.
- In the Control bar, select Cut path at selected anchor points icon.
Drag the new anchor point or path segment to adjust it.
Use the Selection tool to move the new path.
