Learn how to add and format text in Adobe Express.

Add new text

Open a design in the Adobe Express editor.

Select Text from the left panel and then select Add your text.

Edit text

Select a text box to edit its content.

Select the text and use the toolbar to Duplicate, Copy Style, or Delete text.

Use the paintbrush icon in the editor toolbar to copy text styling and apply it instantly to any other text box.

To copy and paste content in the design or from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other sources, select the three‑dot   icon and choose the required action.

Select the three-dot icon to Copy, Paste, Copy Style, or Paste and match style.

Use the Text panel in the left to adjust the font, size, color, alignment, Text layouts, and more.

Tip
  • Learn how to use font recommendations to find the perfect font tailored to your design.
  • Enter a keyword in the font search bar to quickly find a related font. Currently, search is available only in English.

Select the   icon from the Text properties panel to add a hyperlink to your text. 

Select Effects in the text panel to generate text effects or to elevate the text using shadow effects.

In the Text panel, select Animation to animate the text.
