Profile mismatch in Adobe Express

Learn how to resolve profile mismatches between educators and students in Adobe Express for Education.

Sometimes, educators and students may have multiple Adobe profiles based on how their organization manages Adobe accounts. To avoid any issues, create your classroom using the same profile your students use. 

Class created using a different profile

When students attempt to join a class created under a different profile, they may see a green error screen.

Use the Switch profile dropdown to select the profile that matches the student's profile.

Adobe Express for Education open in the Classroom tab where Create class option is displayed an existing classroom is also displayed.
Educators with multiple profiles can use the profile switcher to view and switch between profiles.

Note

If students don’t see the switcher, they are likely already in their root profile (usually named after the district).

Navigate to Classrooms and create a new class.

Select Add students.

To invite students via a class code, generate a new code and then share it with your students.
