Resize images in a few simple steps.

Resize an image using Quick Actions

On the Adobe Express homepage, select Photo.

In the Photo Quick Actions section, select Resize image.

Browse for an image on your device.

Select an option from the Resize for dropdown menu. Drag the Image scale slider as required.

Select Download.

Resize images in the Adobe Express editor

Open a design in the Adobe Express editor.

Choose Photo Custom Size, or start from a template.

To resize the canvas:

  • Select the background.

  • Select Resize in the top toolbar.

  • Enter your desired width and height in pixels.

To resize an image, select it and either drag the corners or enter exact dimensions in the panel.

Continue editing or Select Download.

Note

Adobe Express does not support bulk or batch resizing of multiple images at once. To resize large sets of assets, use Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.

Some size presets like Small, Medium, or Large are available in certain templates, but don't reflect exact dimensions:

  • Small (S): ~500–700 px (web thumbnails)

  • Medium (M): ~800–1000 px (social posts)

  • Large (L): ~1200–1600 px (print or presentation)

For pixel-perfect control (e.g., 1200 px wide), use Custom Size or manually enter dimensions in the editor.
