Create assignments

Learn how to create assignments for students using the Classrooms and the educator section.

Before you begin:

You need a classroom to start creating assignments. Students can be invited before or after you create the assignment.

Create assignments from the Classrooms section

In the Classrooms section, select Create assignment.

   Adobe Express for Education with Classrooms selected in the left panel. There is a classroom open named "Biology -Period 2" and the option to create a new assignment within that classroom.
Use the Create assignment button within the Classroom section to create a new assignment.

Fill in the required fields:

  • Assignment title
  • Instructions
  • Due date
  • Choose a class
  • Turn on/off class galleries

Select the project types, such as Infographic, Poster, or Presentation, and then select a template from Your Stuff.

  Project type screen open with the option for an educator to choose from upto 5 project types including the following options: Infrographic, Poster, Presentation, Video, Webpage, and Drawing
Select one or more project types for an assignment, allowing students to choose a blank format to complete their work.

Select Save Draft or Assign.

Create assignments from the editor

Open the design you want to assign to students and select Assign.

Add a title and instructions.

Select Assign
