Learn how to effectively apply brand colors and fonts to pages, images, and illustrations.

Apply colors

When you select Apply brand, the colors are used to match your design most closely.

  • Multiple color palettes: If you have multiple color palettes, the colors are chosen from the ones set as your Primary palette. Learn how to set roles on brand elements.
  • No color palette: If you have no color palette, colors are chosen from your color swatches.

Apply fonts

When you select Apply brand, the Heading font will be applied to the main titles, and the Body font will be applied to all remaining text. You can use the   icon to find the desired combinations. Learn how to set roles on brand elements.

Recolor graphics

When you select Apply brand, any image or illustration used in your design will be recolored using brand colors.

Best practices

  • Create a Primary color palette with the Apply brand feature. Include white and black—these are common but often overlooked colors.
  • Set Heading and Body roles for your fonts so that you can consistently apply them across designs.
  • Lock elements in a design to preserve the position, color, font, and size of any element. Or, lock any image or illustration you don't want to be recolored.
  • Use the Theme   panel in the editor to apply and shuffle a non-primary palette.
