March 2018 (version 18.1) and October 2017 (18.0) releases of Adobe Muse CC

The March 2018 release of Adobe Muse CC (version 18.1) brings in several new features and enhancements such as copying and pasting style attributes, enhancements to Resize properties and Composition widget. Read on to know more about the features, and links that offer more learning resources.

New in the March 2018 release
Adobe Muse now supports copying styles across elements in the Design view. Previously, you had to search for a specific style from the panel and apply it to another text or object in your design. Now, you can simply copy a style from a page element and paste the style attributes to another element in a single click.
You can copy and paste character styles, paragraph styles, bullet styles, states, and link styles. To copy style attributes from one element to another, right-click and copy the style. Select the element where you want to paste the style. Right-click and select Paste Attributes.
Apart from copying all the attributes, you can also selectively paste the attributes that you want to copy. To know more about copying and pasting style attributes, see Copying and pasting styles in Adobe Muse.
New in the March 2018 release
Enhancements to Resize:
Earlier, users had to individually select each element inside a widget to set the Resize property. Now, Adobe Muse allows you to modify the resize property of a parent and the nested elements at one go. If you select the entire widget and change the Resize property, the Resize property of the nested elements is automatically modified. Conversely, it is also possible to select a particular sub element and modify the Resize property of that element alone.
Composition widget enhancements:
The Show Widget Parts While Editing check box is now reenabled in Composition widgets. This option was disabled in responsive Composition widget earlier.
New in the October 2017 release
The October 2017 release of Adobe Muse contains several high priority bug fixes reported after the August release (2017.1).

New in the October 2017 release
When you open the latest version of Adobe Muse CC, you can now see a new Start screen. The Start screen displays your recently opened files and Creative Cloud files that are synchronized to your login. This screen also supports a Work tab and a Learn tab.
To view your recent files in Adobe Muse, click Work. To view Adobe Muse video tutorials, click Learn.
Notice the search icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Click this icon and start typing your search query. When you type a search query, the application displays recent files, Creative Cloud assets, help links, and stock images that match the search query.
For example, if you type images, notice how the application displays Stock images and tutorial links that are related to your search query.
New in the October 2017 release
Adobe Muse is now available in Simplified Chinese language. During installation, the installer detects the Operating System and the corresponding language version of Adobe Muse is installed.

When you open an existing Adobe Muse file using the latest version of the application, file conversion takes place. Earlier, after the file conversion, when you saved your file, you were not able to open the file in an older version of Adobe Muse.
Now, when you open and save an existing file in Adobe Muse (2018.0), you see the following warning message:
If you click OK, a backup file is saved in the same location as your original file. You can use this backup file with the older versions of Adobe Muse.
The backup file is created only for those files that are converted after you open the file using the latest version of Adobe Muse.
