Certain features not working in Photoshop Elements

Issue

The following features do not work in Photoshop Elements on Windows:

• Moving Photos
• Select Subject
• Smooth Skin
• Colorize Photo
• Auto Selection tool
• Perfect Landscape Guided Edit

Reason

Photoshop Elements is installed at a custom location with double-byte characters in the location path.

Solution

1. Uninstall Photoshop Elements from the custom location having double-byte characters. For more information, see Uninstall Adobe Premiere Elements or Photoshop Elements.
2. Reinstall Photoshop Elements at a location that does not contain any double-byte characters. For more information, see Installing Photoshop Elements.
