Learn how to enhance timeline playback performance by enabling hardware accelerated decoding for H.264/AVC and HEVC media.
Select Edit > Preferences > Media.
Select H264/HEVC hardware accelerated decoding (requires restart).
Select OK.
Restart Premiere Pro to apply changes.
Your timeline playback is optimized for smoother performance with H.264/AVC and HEVC media.
