Mac and Windows

68426 - An error occurs when we try saving Creative Cloud documents in XD.

Workaround: Update Adobe Sync. For more information, see Issue saving cloud documents in XD.

69090 - When there is an error while creating a new XD document, the error message does not state whether the version of CoreSync is wrong, or that CoreSync is not running.

Workaround: Restart XD and try again.

69190 - Auto-Animate prototype dissolves instead of animating on Edge 15.

Workaround: Open the prototype in any of the other supported browsers listed in the System Requirements.

67085 - In XD preview, the document with timed transition does not automatically animate after being updated on the cloud.

Workaround: No workaround for this issue currently. 

54351 - Background blurs with opacity and strokes do not render correctly in the preview window.

Workaround: Create two separate layers; one with transparent fills and strokes, and another one with the background blur layered below.

56652 - Rotated elements in a nested group are offset when using responsive resize.

Workaround: Reimport the rotated instance into XD.

66713 - When opening a Sketch file using File > Open option in XD, XD deletes a file from the recent documents.

Workaround: No workaround for this issue currently.

69688 - Shared Cloud Documents are not supported when the user is offline.

Workaround: Shared documents can be accessed in Recent Documents area.

14850 - Selecting a color stop in the gradient properties inspector and pressing delete key on the keyboard deletes the selected color.

Workaround: Though not a workaround, XD uses a visual indicator to notify when you select a color stop.

76391 - Unable to import files from After Effects through File> Export.

Workaround: On Mac, uninstall and re-install Adobe XD.  On Windows, under PROGRAMFILES\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\Public, look for a file named AEXD.aex. If the file is missing, uninstall and re-install Adobe XD.

Unable to verify the subscription status while creating a new document in Adobe XD.

Mac: Open Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access. Under Keychains, select login.

  • If the keychain is locked, click the icon to unlock it. If the keychain is unlocked, click the icon once to lock it and then again to unlock it.
  • If you are prompted, enter your password to lock or unlock the key.
  • If the above steps do not resolve the issue, log out of your system and log back in.

Windows: Click Start and type Services to open the Services Manager.

  • In the list of Services, right-click on Credential Manager.
  • Click Restart.
  • If the above steps do not resolve the issue, restart your computer.

 

Mac Only

68857 - File- Revert to Saved fails if the document was saved locally while XD saves the document on cloud.

Workaround: Ensure that the document has been saved to Creative Cloud before making additional changes.

Windows Only

74962 - XD does not launch and an error message indicates that the developer license has expired.

Workaround: Click Start > Settings > Update & Security > For developers. Enable the Sideload apps option and restart Adobe XD. 

59212 - XD crashes after welcome screen goes blank for 30 seconds after launch (Win10 RS5 Beta).

Workaround: Restart the machine.

61875 - XD does not have access to microphone by default on Windows.

Workaround: 

  1. Type Settings in Windows Search and open the Windows Settings app.
  2. In the Windows Settings app, type Microphone privacy settings in Search.
  3. Toggle to select Adobe XD.

49656 - XD crashes while launching on Windows 10 RS5.

Workaround: Restart your machine and launch XD again. For more information on supported versions, see Adobe XD system requirements.

62120 - Email triggered while reporting abuse against plugins shows garbled content (Korean, French, German).

Workaround: Change the Windows display language to English or any other supported language temporarily. (To open the Windows language settings, type Region & language settings in Windows Search). You can switch back to Korean, French, or German after reporting abuse against the concerned plugins.

68730 - Unable to access the “Move your file” hyperlink after opening the Device preview of the file within Adobe XD.

No workaround for this issue currently.

69708 - Touch events do not trigger transitions in preview mode.

Workaround: No workaround for this issue currently.

Unable to access documents from Creative Cloud notifications, or Email notifications.

Workaround: Access the documents from Shared with you option instead.

66176 - Unable to delete a cloud document while it is open.

Workaround: Close the document and then delete it.

2011 - Adobe XD only shows up in the Windows profile that was used to install it.

If multiple users share a machine, it is recommended to deploy the machine via SCCM to display Adobe XD to all the user profiles. For more information, visit https://helpx.adobe.com/in/enterprise/kb/deploy-adobe-xd-known-issues.html.

Error message while trying to open Adobe XD - "Your developer license has expired. To continue to use this app, please renew your license".

Workaround: Click Start > Settings > Update & Security > For developers. Enable the Sideload apps option and restart Adobe XD.

iOS and Android

Until 16.0 mobile versions ship, users are unable to access documents saved in Desktop versions 16.x from mobile.

Workaround: Till 16.0 mobile versions ship, work with earlier versions of XD.

iOS Only

42650 - Text created with some fonts in XD desktop with Area Text option does not render correctly in the XD iOS app.

Workaround: Use other fonts in XD Desktop or use Point Text option.

Web

70044- Auto-animate feature does not work on published prototype link in XD 15.

Workaround: 

  1. Open the file in XD and switch to Prototype pane.
  2. Press Ctrl+A and copy the content.
  3. Create a new XD file and switch to Prototype pane.
  4. Paste the copied content.
  5. Publish the prototype.

 

63061- The comments do not appear when using a Japanese keyboard on an Edge browser.

Workaround: Use a different web browser. 

Unable to access shared documents offline from the Shared with You tab in the Home Screen.

Workaround: The shared documents can be accessed from the Recent Documents tab.
