Collections organize related documents into logical groups so you can analyze, filter, review, and share them together.
A collection provides a scoped workspace for a defined set of documents. Collections do not modify the original files, and the same file can belong to multiple collections without creating duplicate copies.
Use collections to organize your work
Use collections to:
- Focus analysis on a specific set of documents.
- Apply extraction and review actions across related files.
- Filter documents using extracted attributes.
- Share a defined set of documents with other users.
- Export results from a specific document set.
- Run AI-assisted analysis within a defined scope.
Actions performed within a collection apply only to the files in that collection.
Collection types
Analyzer supports three collection types:
My Collections
Collections you own and manage. You can add or remove files directly.
Linked Collections
Collections synchronized with a supported external source, such as Microsoft SharePoint.
Shared by others
Collections another user has shared with you. The actions available to you depend on the permissions granted by the collection owner.
Ownership and sharing
Every collection has an owner who controls its configuration and membership. Through the ellipsis to the right of the collection name, the owner can:
- Manage the attributes extracted from the collection.
- Share the collection with another user in their organization to support collaboration.
- Sharing a collection gives users access to the collection but does not transfer ownership of the collection or its files.
- Rename the collection.
- Delete the collection.
Limits and consumption
Collections are subject to service limits, including limits on document counts, sharing, and exports.
Operations performed on files may also consume usage entitlements according to the service associated with your account.
