In the CS6 workflow, you can import Adobe Story scripts directly into Adobe Premiere Pro. Unlike in CS5, you do not have to go through Adobe OnLocation to import scripts into Adobe Premiere Pro.

Adobe Premiere Pro automatically uses the imported Adobe Story script as a reference script. When Adobe Premiere Pro finds enough matches with the embedded script, it replaces the analyzed speech text with the embedded script text. Adobe Premiere Pro carries over the correct spelling, proper names, and punctuation from the reference script — benefits that standard speech analysis cannot provide.

Opomba:

A merged clip cannot be analyzed by attaching an Adobe Story script.

Export script from Adobe Story

  1. In Adobe Story, open the script, and select File > Export As > Adobe Story Interchange Format.

  2. Save the ASTX file to a location on your computer.

Run speech analysis on movie clips attached to script file

  1. Open Adobe Premiere Pro.

  2. Import the movie clips that you want to analyze.

    Ensure that the movie clips are not locked or read-only.

  3. Number the movie clips such that the movie clip number corresponds to the scene number in the Adobe Story script.

  4. In the Project panel, select the clips that you want to analyze.

  5. Select File > Adobe Story > Attach Script File.

  6. Select the ASTX file, and click Open. The scene data in the script is displayed in the Embedded Adobe Story script section of the Metadata panel.

  7. If you have selected multiple clips, deselect them in the Project panel, and choose the clip that you want to analyze.

  8. In the Metadata panel, click Analyze. Adobe Premiere Pro runs speech analysis on the movie clip guided by the embedded script for greater accuracy.
