Is the commenting panel showing up automatically on the links you shared earlier, even though commenting was disabled? Learn more about the issue and how to fix it.
Issue
If you had created a prototype or design specs link using XD 17 or an earlier version with commenting disabled, you might see that the commenting panel is appearing automatically on that link.
This issue is because of some back-end changes made to support newer capabilities in the commenting panel.
Follow the workaround given below to fix this issue.
Workaround
-
-
Open the XD document from which you had published the concerned link.
-
Switch to the Share tab.
-
In the Link Settings section, click the Link drop down, and then select the link that you want to fix.
-
Click Update Link.
-
Open the updated link in a web browser, and confirm that the commenting panel is now disabled.
It's recommended that you update XD to the latest version to get all the latest features and bug fixes.
Unable to update XD?
